On behalf of the Keep Walking Nepal family, I am thankful to everyone who has supported us.

We would like to thank you for your support during pandemic and request you to keep supporting us by recommending Keep Walking Nepal’s treks and tours to your friends and family.

Currently, we have one of the lowest cases of Covid-19and vaccination is in full swing. As such, all vaccinated travelers in Nepal can visit without staying in quarantine. Unvaccinated travelers need to stay in a 10 days quarantine before commencing travel.

We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We hope you enjoy time with your loved ones and we look forward to seeing you in 2022.
See you soon in Nepal!

These are difficult times not only for us in Nepal but for everyone throughout the whole world. On behalf of Keep Walking Nepal family, I am thankful to everyone who inquired and supported us.

We all were hit unexpectedly with Covid 19 financially, emotionally and personally. In Nepal, the tourism industry was hit the hardest. Our travels guides and support staff who relied on the seasonal income were left jobless and are having a hard time as they have burned through whatever savings they had.

With the latest developments, we are hoping and praying for the pandemic to be over soon. As we are adjusting to the ‘new-normal’, at Keep Walking Nepal we have planned on working out safe trekking and tourism.

On the same note, I would like to invite the groups whose trips were cancelled in 2020 to plan another adventure in 2021. We are waiting once again to show you around our beautiful country and create experiences of a lifetime.

We wish you and your family Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2021.

Hope to see you soon in Nepal!

Best Regards

Namaste and greetings from the Keep Walking Nepal family.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who participated in Keep Walking Nepal’s community projects in 2019. Over the years, our projects have proven successful in providing fundamental necessities to disadvantaged rural far-flung communities.

This year, the Junbesi School Hostel Safe Drinking Water Project has enabled potable water access to school children. Our two other community projects; the Junbesi community incinerator project & the Phongmoche Buddhist school incinerator project, have started and we hope to complete them by 2020.

We are also thankful to all our valued guests who visited Nepal. Your invaluable support, suggestions and advice have helped us to grow each year to achieve our motto of creating experiences-of-a-lifetime.

As part of our continuous effort to improve, we have redesigned our website for easy navigation and usability. So with 2020 looming over the horizon, I would like to share what we have to offer for 2020 & 2021.

Finally, I thank you all for yet another year of support and wish you and your family/friends a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2020. We hope you enjoy your time with loved ones and look forward to seeing you in 2020.

See you soon in Nepal!

Best Regards

Namaste and greetings from the team at Keep Walking Nepal.

I would like to thank those who helped in the rebuilding work after the massive earthquake. Your support has been highly appreciated by our community. Most of the Rebuild work has been done. Medical Centres have been repaired, schools are being rebuilt and monasteries reconstructed.

We strive to provide a unique and intimate travel experience and I would like to thank all those who have chosen to travel with us and welcome your return as well as encourage anyone who is seeking a wonderful experience to choose a trip with Keep Walking Nepal.

Nepal is blessed with hundreds of kilometers of amazing trails which means we have more than our fair share of great walks. From low altitude valley trails to rugged mountaintops, there is something to offer for everyone. We have managed to pack a huge variety of options in such a small place. Jungle safaris – home to the leopard, tiger and elephants; Bird watching – Nepal has more than 850 bird species, 8% of the world’s recorded population; White water rafting, paragliding, mountain bike riding, Helicopter tours, community projects, and other thrill-seeking activities; Trail walks and the more extreme treks to places like Everest Base Camp. Nowhere else in the world can you adventure from near sea level to the highest peaks all in one trip. A short plane trip can take you from the snowy peaks of the Himalayas to the jungles on the plains, and YES you are still in Nepal!! Breathtaking was the expression used by the group who recently traveled to Nepal (See story). So, come and share some breathtaking memories with KWN.

I cordially invite you to contact me with respect to the services our family business can readily provide – detailed at http://www.keepwalkingnepal.com/ I would welcome providing you with a wonderful experience.

Please enjoy and share with family and friends this newsletter and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a healthy happy New Year 2018!

I would also like to express my appreciation to all those who have trekked with Keep Walking Nepal and helped Nepal to recover in economic disaster. Currently, we are rebuilding the collapsed School building and Buddhist monastery. Most of the local houses, “Mani” wall and Medical Centers were rebuilt. The Medical Center is now at the stage of providing regular services.

We hope that we will again get the opportunity to have your hospitality in the future and hope we can have your continuous help and suggestions

NEWSLETTER JUNE 2016

2016-06-01

We are one year on from the devastating life-changing earthquake that hit Nepal in 2015.

How are we faring you may ask?

How is Nepal recovering?

I will be the first to admit it has been difficult, actually very difficult. Keep Walking Nepal along with many other groups became involved in helping to Rebuild Nepal. Things are slowly improving but we have some way to go yet. The support of many people from around the world has helped the Nepali people to recover and to have a life again. Some things will never be the same for many people, but we are determined and courageous and love our country and are working hard to help those who cannot help themselves. We are very grateful for your support whether it was financial or by trekking with us or sending your prayers over the last 12 months – it was very welcome.
