Over the years, Wilderness in Nepal (WIN), Australia and Keep Walking Nepal have been lending a helping hand to rural and marginalized communities in Nepal through various community projects and medical camps.
In 2023 WIN, Keep Walking Nepal (KWN) and Kushudebu Public Health Mission Nepal (KPHMN) organized a 3-day health camp at Bahadure village in Kaski district (near Pokhara) where more than 1200 patients took benefit of the service.
Keeping on with WIN’s support and love for Nepal, KWN and WIN have planned to organize a 4-day health camp volunteer program in the remote village of Junbesi in Solukhumbu village.
After the medical camp, you can join the Everest View trek that takes you through beautiful Sherpa villages, and to the foot of the most beautiful mountain. Plus, you will get to explore the rich culture and landscape of the Khumbu region.
The Everest View Trek is an easy to moderately challenging trek that takes you to the upper reaches of Khumbu. The trek is for all ages who are moderately fit.
Throughout the trek, the changes in the landscape will help you understand and appreciate the harsh mountain life. You will get to see the mighty Himalayan giants while observing the Sherpa culture and their life path. One of the major attractions on the trek is the stay at Tengboche. You will get to visit the historic Tengboche Monastery with views of Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku.
Keep Walking Nepal would be pleased to have you along on this adventure. The program as a whole introduces you to our country and way of life.
