Visa Procedure / Fees (Nepal)
Most foreign nationals require a visa to enter Nepal. Tourist visas can be easily obtained on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu or at designated land border entry points.
Visa Procedure
- Complete the online visa application form (or fill it at the airport kiosk).
- Print the confirmation slip.
- Make the visa fee payment at the bank counter.
- Proceed to immigration for visa issuance.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry.
Visa Fees
- 15 Days: USD 30
- 30 Days: USD 50
- 90 Days: USD 125
Visa fees are payable in USD (cash) or equivalent convertible currency. Fees are non-refundable.
Visa Extension
Tourist visas can be extended at the Department of Immigration, Kathmandu or Pokhara.
- Minimum extension: 15 days (USD 45)
- Additional days: USD 3 per day
Important Notes
- Nationals of some countries must obtain a visa before arrival.
- Children under 10 years receive a free visa.Multiple-entry visas are available under the same fee structure.
